MedicalCases.eu is made by and for medicine enthusiasts. The idea of this website is to build a huge database of medical cases and quiz-cases in which we will discuss about diagnostic processes and methods, set diagnosis and prescribe treatment. We strongly encourage you to add your own cases which you find interesting, unusual and difficult. We want this portal to develop your practical knowledge and experience.

MedicalCases.eu is addressed to medical students, doctors, paramedics, nurses and all people who are connected somehow with medicine!

Before you start exploring this website you are required to read and agree with following Regulations. One of the points says that exploring and adding materials on MedicalCases.eu means you fully understand and accept those Regulations.

MedicalCases.eu Regulations:

 

1. Presence and adding articles on MedicalCases.eu means you fully understand and accept portal's Regulations.

2. It is allowed to submit:

2.1) cases which happened to you as a patients,
2.2) cases of patients, from whom you received written approval to submit their cases on MedicalCases.eu,
2.3) hypothetical and fiction cases - made-up or from books i.e. You need to remember about copyrights.

3. User submitting an article is entirely responsible for it. MedicalCases.eu staff doesn't have the qualifications to verify the information in articles in a matter of law accordance.

4. Contents of MedicalCases.eu don't have scientific character. They can't substitute a visit in a clinic or a medical book. Although in theory the essence of published cases, the diagnoses and suggested treatments are to be as real, as accurate and as much up to date with the current medical standards as possible, the portal itself is widely available to the public and thus created to large extend by the people who do not necessarily have the right level of competence and qualifications and therefore cannot be used as a source of absolute knowledge.

5. It's forbidden to write any details which could give away any confidential information about patients (don't use real name, last name, dates and places of accidents). It mainly refers to cases which are mentioned in point 2.2 of MedicalCases.eu Regulations. Whats is more, all types of articles should be written in clear manner and can't contain:

5.1) vulgarisms, offending contents,
5.2) advertisements,
5.3) off-topic contents.

6) MedicalCases.eu staff retains the right to change the regulations informing about it all users. In such cases, users will be notified via e-mail. If a user doesn't agree with changes, it means he resigns from his account.

7) Users who submit QUIZ-Cases are kindly requested to follow up on the debate, responding to questions which other users might ask about the case.

8) MedicalCases.eu staff has privileges to make changes in users articles that await publication. Changes could refer to article order, proper language, antispamming policy.

9) MedicalCases.eu staff has privileges to reject users articles because of unsuitable form or content.

10) ComVideo Palczewska Krystyna Company is responsible for technical matter of MedicalCases.eu.

11) MedicalCases.eu users agree to receive information e-mails from MedicalCases.eu. Users which don't want to receive those e-mails are requested to send e-mail with words: "I don't agree to receive information e-mails from MedicalCases.eu" and sign with their nick.
